Tracy Kobus

$0.00

Tracy creates her acrylic paintings in her studio in the Comox Valley, near the Puntledge River.  She has worked as a professional artist and drawing teacher for the past 20 years and her artwork is exhibited in many gift shops and galleries – she also has a successful online shop.

Tracy’s paintings are loosely referenced from photographs and sketches of places she has explored, mostly on Vancouver Island.  She believes that the landscape can serve as a powerful metaphor for many aspects of our life’s journey.

Tracy participates in local events such as the Central Island Studio Tour and often donates pieces to support local causes such as Habitat for Humanity or YANA (You Are Not Alone).  Besides painting, she enjoys mountain biking, snowboarding, backpacking, gardening and reading.  Tracy also writes a blog where she further reflects on her artistic process.
