I am a registered nurse who decided, when I retired, to use my sadly neglected left brain. I spend part of the year in Phoenix Arizona and the remainder of my time at my home in the Comox Valley, British Columbia. I find painting and artwork very relaxing and rejuvenating. I have been taking art classes and painting in various media for the past 8 years. My artwork has won awards in juried art shows in Arizona.
I am happy exploring and working with a variety of media and I find many commonalities as one informs the other. I am constantly trying to capture energy and light in my artwork.
