Art has always been of great interest to me, preferring to draw upon everyday life experiences and nature to inspire my creations. Painting with acrylic, oils or watercolours gives me the variety of mediums to best showcase my subject choices whether they are animals, birds, landscapes or people.
After graduation from North Island College’s fine arts program, I became a member of the Art Group of the Comox Valley (now called Artsphere), Pearl Ellis Art Gallery and the Comox Valley Arts Collective to connect with and share techniques and experiences as artists.
My mantra is: “Make art, be Happy”!
